Lunch chats

Created by Olaf 3 years ago

Our lunch-time chats were pretty interesting- we discussed everything from F1 to philosophy, assorted medical conditions to history; books and films or TV series. Mike had an interesting way of making you look at things, even if you brought them to his attention. He introduced me to some pretty witty authors, and our views on certain subjects wandered off into random areas, but never did he appear bored by my view points. His knowledge of the data software was encyclopaedic, and I regularly borrowed his intellect to test a theory or help me understand something. His recommendation of The Henry Root Letters had (and still has, occasionally) me rolling in my seat.

I will forever treasure knowing Mike, and will fondly remember the chats, but most especially I will remember and try to follow his attitude- don't let the bad take over.
